FarmLink is connectivity built for how farms actually work: our LTE modem where cellular is good, Starlink where it isn't, and ±2.5 cm RTK corrections from your own base — month to month, not an annual contract.
The access problem
Sub-inch autosteer. Variable-rate prescriptions. Real-time machine data flowing to the platform. These aren't new capabilities — the technology has existed for decades. The reason most farms still don't run them isn't the hardware cost. It's the connectivity infrastructure those tools require in places where cell service goes to one bar at the field's edge and RTK base stations are forty miles away.
A prescription map loaded in the shop is useless if the cab can't download the update when the plan changes at 6 AM. RTK corrections from a base station in town degrade with every mile. Without the infrastructure, precision agriculture is a brochure claim, not a farm reality.
FarmLink changes the infrastructure equation. If your cellular coverage is good, our LTE modem is all you need. If it isn't, Starlink puts broadband on the farm regardless of where the tower is — bring your own dish or we'll provide one. And the only job that truly demands an always-on link is RTK corrections; data transfer, remote support, and FarmIQ uploads shrug off a spotty connection. A local RTK base — installed during any SoilOptix or FarmDefender trip — eliminates range-and-latency degradation entirely.
The result is that precision agriculture tools which technically worked on the spec sheet actually work in the field. That's the gap FarmLink closes: between "our equipment supports it" and "we run it every season."
How we build coverage
If your area lacks an RTK base, we install one — as part of a SoilOptix mapping trip, a FarmDefender install, or a standalone FarmLink engagement. Same crew, same visit. Base stations go at shops, grain sites, or farmsteads — anywhere with a clear sky view.
No stable internet at the install site? We manage the backhaul ourselves. FarmLink paired with Starlink or LTE becomes the connection that feeds the base station, not just the tractor in the cab.

Pricing
FarmLink is configured to each operation — number of machines, existing receiver brands, whether you need a new base station or we're tying into one already installed. Pricing depends on scope.
And it's month to month. Most connectivity products in ag charge an annual fee whether the machine runs or not — and around here, a sprayer works most of the year but a seeder runs six weeks and a combine not much more. With FarmLink you pay for the months you're actually connected. Turn a machine on for its season, turn it off after.
Hardware costs vary by equipment configuration. Ongoing connectivity costs depend on your Starlink plan and LTE carrier. We don't mark up the satellite hardware — we're paid for the engineering and install.

Common questions
No. If your cellular coverage is good, our LTE-only modem works just fine — that's the setup we recommend. If your cell service isn't great, Starlink is the answer: bring your own dish or we can provide one. Keep in mind the only job that truly needs a constant connection is RTK corrections — data transfer, remote support, and FarmIQ uploads all tolerate an imperfect link. We'll match the setup to the coverage you actually have.
Dealer correction networks are convenient but they have two real problems: you're dependent on a vendor staying operational, and the corrections degrade with distance. A local base station 5 miles away beats a correction network base 40 miles away on both latency and accuracy — and you own it. We've seen operations go from 3–4 inch passes to sub-2 inch after switching from a distant correction service to a local base. It also eliminates the "corrections are down" day at planting.
Yes. FarmLink delivers corrections via NTRIP — the industry-standard protocol that every major receiver brand has supported for years. We've connected to Topcon AGI-4, Trimble NAV-900, John Deere StarFire, and CNH AFS Pro setups. If your receiver has an NTRIP input (and almost any modern one does), FarmLink feeds it. We test the connection on your equipment before we leave the yard.
It doesn't. We mount the dish flat, and in our field testing with the Starlink Mini mounted that way, we've had no dropouts. And even if the internet link did blink, the RTK base keeps broadcasting corrections independently of the internet connection once it's synced, so your autosteer pass doesn't depend on the dish.

FarmLink ships onboard with FarmDefender™ and connects to every other product in the stack — FarmIQ™, SoilOptix, FarmTag. If you're running any FarmTech product, you're already on FarmLink. If you're not, the rest of your precision-ag infrastructure is working with one hand tied.
