Real Results: 2025 Montana Trials
We ran Messium trials on winter wheat fields across Montana in 2025. The most dramatic results came from one dryland winter wheat field, where we ran a true side-by-side comparison.
The setup: Farmer's usual practice was 160 lbs N/acre applied upfront. Messium-guided strips received 80 lbs N/acre based on satellite monitoring.
The results: Both treatments yielded comparable grain. The farmer practice came in at 13.6% protein; the Messium-guided treatment at 12.2%. The Messium strips saved 80 lbs of nitrogen per acre.
