Owner

Doug@FarmTech.us

Doug founded FarmTech in 2009 as a business focused on providing custom applications of the best in agricultural sciences and technology along with a level of understanding and customer service that only a fellow farmer can provide. Doug grew up in Choteau, Montana on the wheat and cattle farm that he and his family continue to operate. After graduating from Choteau High School Doug attended Montana State University, earning a degree in Plant Molecular Biology and Plant Biotechnology.  Additional, Doug pursued education and exposure to GPS technologies while at MSU and participated with the Upper Midwest Aerospace Consortium.  It was through his education at MSU that Doug recognized the power in bringing together digital and agricultural sciences, which is at the core of what FarmTech brings to our customers.

Doug started FarmTech by building on his experience working for WestBred (a Monsanto subsidiary), CHS, Inc., and working with large farms in southern Ukraine. In the past 10 years Doug has positioned FarmTech as a leader in the precision agriculture industry while maintaining personal relationships and the commitment to customer service that guides everything that we do. Doug regularly works with manufacturers like TopCon to beta test and refine new products for the consumer market.

From his farm to your farm, Doug and FarmTech are committed to putting to work the the latest proven and cost effective technologies for machine and implement control, precision agriculture, and remote imaging.
